Bryce
I didn’t plan on posting today but received some good news that I wanted to share with everyone.
On Day 2 I received a spinal tap and spinal chemo to determine if the Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia had spread to my central nervous systems, which happens in 5-10% of cases. This morning I found out the tests came back negative and there’s no involvement with my CNS. I’ll continue to receive spinal chemo prophylactically over the next several cycles but again, no leukemia in my CNS!
Metrics that Matter
- Physical feels: 6/10 – fatigued. I was told to expect the fatigue to worsen as my white blood cells get killed off
- Emotional feels: 8/10 – today is a win
- Cumulative hours of chemo: 31
- Butt: still intact
- Re: packing list
Tomorrow’s Plans
More chemo but I’ll receive a couple days off afterwards, more walking
